Dire Magnus I was the first and original Dire Magnus.
Biography
After learning of the prophecy about the Books of Beginning, the Dire Magnus enlisted the help of Alexander the Great to conquer the city of Rhakotis where the Books were hidden. After learning of their disappearance- taken by Stanislaus Pym, Xanbertis, and the Countess, respectively- he split his spirit into eleven parts, keeping one for himself, and spreading the other ten out across time so that he may be reborn and continue his search for the missing Books.
Personality
The Dire Magnus was an evil, angry man, who harbored a deep, bitter hatred for non-magical humans, and desired the Books of Beginning to exact his revenge on them.
